On October 19, 2019 officers with the Patrol Services and Investigation Services Units of the Sault Ste. On October 11, 2019 officers with the Patrol Services Unit arrested 24 year old John Hamel for assault. On October 11, 2019 the accused attended the residence of a person known to him. At that time he accused the victim of stealing something from him and he struck them. Others inside the residence were able to stop the exchange and remove Mr. Hamel from the residence.
