Male Charged with Using a Stolen Credit Card

On October 3, 2019 officers with the Patrol Services Unit of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 50 year old Charles Shaw of no fixed address for using a stolen credit card.

On September 19 and 20, 2019 it’s alleged the accused used a stolen credit card and made transactions totaling approximately $260. The accused also attempted to make five other transactions, but they were all declined.

He was arrested on October 3, 2019. The accused had a back pack in his possession at the time of his arrest. Inside the bag officers found a pellet gun. He is charged with eight counts of using a stolen credit card, one count of possession of stolen property, one count of possession of a firearm contrary to prohibition order and one count of breach of probation. He was held for bail court.
