Male Charged with Impaired Driving

On January 14, 2020 officers with Patrol Services arrested 29 year old Matthew Mallette-Edwards of Morin Street for impaired driving. 

Just after 12:00 p.m. on January 14, 2020 officers responded to a call regarding a vehicle stuck in a snow bank on Wellington Street West. When officers arrived the accused was in the driver’s seat of the vehicle with the ignition running. Officers detected alcohol on his breath. The accused provided a breath sample into an approved device and registered a reading over the legal limit. 

He was arrested and charged with one count of impaired driving - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus). He is schedule to appear in court on March 2, 2020.
